Chautauqua County, NY – Neck Injuries Result from Head-on Collision
Chautauqua County, NY (October 20, 2018) – A sheriff’s deputy of Chautauqua County was involved in a head-on collision around 9 yesterday morning, October 19, at Straight and Center Roads. The accident took place in Sheridan.
The police officer received a serious neck injury and was flown by medical helicopter to the Erie County Medical Center. His vehicle was severely damaged. The driver of the second vehicle involved was quickly taken to a hospital in Dunkirk for a variety of injuries.
A variety of medical services and the sheriff’s department were at the scene of the accident. Police are still investigating how it took place.
