Brunswick, NY – One Person Struck, Killed in Pedestrian Accident

Brunswick, NY (October 20, 2018) – In Brunswick, one person was struck and killed in a serious pedestrian accident on Hoosick Road. The accident happened last night, October 19, around 8 p.m.

Police responded to the accident scene in front of the Center Brunswick Firehouse. Police tried to perform CPR on the victim but he died at the scene. He has since been identified as 86-year-old Petra Gabriel.

A few neighbors in the area came to see what was going on. One witness said that a variety of accidents like these take place all the time in that same area. New York State Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
