Hudson Valley, NY – Seven Vehicles Involved in Large Crash on Taconic State Parkway
Hudson Valley, NY (October 16, 2018) – An enormous pileup was reported to have taken place on the Taconic State Parkway on Tuesday morning, October 16. The major collision occurred in Putnam Valley, just a little bit south of Pudding Street.
Traffic reports stated that numerous vehicles had been backed up in the area for most of the morning as emergency crews and police arrived on the scene to assist those involved in the crash. At least minor injuries are believed to have been sustained, although there has been no word as to the conditions of those involved.
Southbound traffic was backed up for several hours as cleanup crews worked to clear the debris. There has been no word pertaining to the cause of this collision or the nature of the injuries involved. Authorities are likely to be looking into the cause of this accident at this time.
