Campbell, NY – Fatal Motorcycle Accident on ST-415

Campbell, NY (October 15, 2018) – A motorcyclist was tragically pronounced dead after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on Sunday, October 14 in the town of Campbell. Police at Painted Post stated the deadly crash occurred on ST-415 at approximately 4:27 p.m.

Robert Neally, 42, of Campbell was reported to have been operating a 2003 Subaru station wagon northbound when he made a left turn in front of the motorcyclist. 65-year-old Terry Hill, of Lindley, had been traveling southbound on his 2002 Harley Davidson when Neally cut him off and subsequently caused the crash.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene along with the Campbell Fire Department and other officials to render aid to the victim. Sadly, the Steuben County Coroner pronounced Hill dead at the scene of the crash. Neally was charged with DWI and other traffic infractions, as well as pending criminal charges.

No further information has been provided in regards to this accident at this time.
