Scipio, NY – Three-Car Crash Updates After Police Investigation
Scipio, NY (October 14, 2018) – Police have released information following an investigation into a three-car crash that took place in Scipio on October 5 on Route 38. The crash ended with injuries.
State police say that 71-year-old George Langley was traveling northbound at the time when his vehicle suddenly veered into the southbound lane. This caused a driver in that lane, 35-year-old Justin Dowsland, to move onto the road’s shoulder. He ran out of room and came back into the road, where his vehicle struck 32-year-old Micah Bevier’s car.
All three drivers involved in the accident were transported to the hospital with injuries. At this time, they are all expected to be okay.
Langley was ticketed for moving into a lane unsafely.
