Hamptons, NY – Man Involved in Fatal Plane Crash Now Identified
Hamptons, NY (October 14, 2018) – On Sunday, October 14, police finally identified the man who was found following a fatal plane crash near the Hamptons. This all happened after the Saturday accident where a twin-engine plane crashed only a mile off of the coast of the Hamptons.
Authorities said that the man has been identified as 41-year-old Munidat Raj Persaud of Waterbury, Connecticut. He was one of three people who was aboard the plane that hit the waters of the Atlantic Ocean around 11 a.m. yesterday. Now, police are still searching for the other two people involved in the accident.
Police say that the plane initially took off from a Connecticut airport and was bound for Charleston at the time. Only small pieces of the airplane have since been found. Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
