Altona, NY – Woman Suffers Injuries After ATV Accident on Rock Road

Altona, NY (October 13, 2018) – In Altona, one woman received injuries in an ATV accident that happened on Rock Road. The accident took place around 4:30 p.m. when she had been on her 2011 Yamaha ATV and suddenly lost control.

The ATV slammed into a rock with the right front tire. This caused the woman, identified as 29-year-old Karina Preston, to fall off of the ATV and onto the ground.

Preston was immediately taken by ambulance to the University of Vermont Health Network for treatment of her injuries.

The accident is being investigated at this time.
