Niskayuna, NY – Names Released in Head-on Collision at Rosendale Road and Partridge Run
Niskayuna, NY (October 2, 2018) – A crash that sent one man to the hospital was reported earlier in Niskayuna. More information has now been made available pertaining to the accident that occurred at Rosendale Road and Partridge Run at approximately 7:45 a.m. this morning, October 2.
26-year-old Rhiannon Orris, of Ballston Spa, crossed into the opposite lane and hit a 2017 Mercedes. The Mercedes was being operated by 49-year-old Matthew Guyette, of Slingerlands. The two vehicles met in a head-on collision, and Guyette was transported to a local hospital with facial injuries.
Prior to the arrival of emergency medical personnel, both parties involved were reported to have exited their vehicles on their own. Orris has been issued two tickets. One for a lane violation and another for imprudent speed. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
