Wilton, NY (July 5, 2019) – According to state police, a man had to be airlifted to the hospital following a serious collision that occurred on Friday afternoon, July 5th. Authorities stated that accident involved a car and a motorcycle, which collided at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the town of Wilton.
Emergency medical crews were summoned to the scene on Ballard Road after a motorcycle crashed with an unspecified vehicle. The cause of the collision has not been confirmed at this time.
At this time, paramedics have confirmed that one person was taken to a nearby hospital via medical helicopter but there has been no word concerning the extent of his injuries. Authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the events that led to this incident.
