Rochester, NY – Injurious Collision Reported on I-490 at Ames Street

Rochester, NY (July 4, 2019) – A motor vehicle collision that resulted in at least minor injuries was stated to have happened along Interstate 490 in the city of Rochester on Tuesday afternoon, July 2nd, according to police. Authorities responded to the accident site in the westbound lanes of the interstate at Ames Street, just around 5:31 p.m.
At this time, emergency medical technicians who arrived at the scene were able to confirm that at least one person was hurt in the crash. However, there has been no word concerning the severity of injuries. Police have not reported the number of people involved in the accident, although no more than two vehicles are believed to have played a role.
