Ellington, NY – Man Charged for Alleged Sexual Abuse of a Minor

Ellington, NY (July 3, 2019) – According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, a man has been arrested for sexual abuse following an investigation. Frederick Nutt Jr., 49, of Sinclairville, was arrested on Wednesday, July 3rd, for engaging in a criminal sexual act with a juvenile, according to authorities.
Officials stated that Nutt sexually abused a minor during at least one incident between June and August of 2015; however, neither the age of the victim nor the details of the encounter have been specified at this time. The abuse was reported at a later date and a subsequent investigation led to the arrest.
According to police, Nutt has been arrested and charged with first-degree sexual abuse. He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail, where he is currently awaiting arraignment. No further details have been provided.
