North Greenbush, NY – Teen Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle at Intersection

North Greenbush, NY (July 2, 2019) – A pedestrian accident that took place in North Greenbush on Saturday evening, June 29th, is currently being investigated by authorities. Police stated that the incident, which left a 14-year-old girl with injuries, happened around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Route 4 and Williams Road.
Law enforcement officers were called to the scene, where it was reported that a teenage girl was attempting to walk across Route 4 when she was struck by an unspecified motor vehicle. The driver involved was stated to have remained at the accident site in order to cooperate with authorities.
Police and emergency medical crews arrived at the location and were able to confirm that the injured girl suffered injuries that are considered to be non-life-threatening at this time. Police stated that the driver has not been issued any tickets, although the investigation is ongoing.
