Katonah, NY – Woman Struck and Killed in Strange Pedestrian Accident with Own Vehicle

Katonah, NY (July 1, 2019) – A tragic mishap took place on Sunday, June 30th, that resulted in the death of a woman in the town of Katonah. Police stated that the incident happened on Anderson Road at approximately 3:37 p.m.
According to authorities, 46-year-old Diana Devivo, of Katonah, was hit by her own vehicle in an accident that is currently being investigated. Officers who arrived at the scene found several people attempting to help Devivo, who was unconscious at the time.
Police stated that Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps arrived at the accident site, where they transported Devivo to Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco. She was tragically pronounced deceased a short time later. At this time, police are actively conducting a thorough investigation into the events that led to this incident.
