Queens, NY (June 29, 2019) – A 67-year-old man was killed and six others received injuries following a fatal crash on the Long Island Expressway in Queens this past week.
The accident allegedly took place around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday when a 67-year-old man was driving his black Honda SUV and suddenly swerved to the left, causing his vehicle to flip into oncoming traffic in the westbound lanes.
This caused four other vehicles to slam into his, causing severe injuries to those involved. The 67-year-old man was transported to the Elmhurst Hospital but could tragically not be saved.
Four other drivers involved were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition at this time.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
