Cortlandt, NY – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Kings Ferry Road

Cortlandt, NY (June 28, 2019) – Police stated that a motorcyclist was tragically killed in an accident that took place around 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening, June 27^th, in the town of Cortlandt. The fatal collision occurred between the motorcycle and an unspecified vehicle along Kings Ferry Road.

According to authorities, the unidentified operator of the motorcycle was involved in an accident with a motor vehicle near Harper Avenue for reasons that have not been confirmed. Emergency medical crews were dispatched to the scene in the hamlet of Montrose shortly after the crash, where they sadly pronounced the motorcyclist deceased.

At this time, police are not providing the identity of the victim until loved ones can be notified, and no information has been reported concerning the other driver involved. Authorities are actively investigating the events that led to this incident.
