Liverpool, NY – 38-Year-Old Man Charged with Child Pornography

Liverpool, NY (June 27, 2019) – New York State Police in North Syracuse announced the arrest of a man for possession of child pornography on Thursday, June 27th. According to authorities, Raymond E. Congdon, 38, is now facing charges related to the sexual performance of a child.
Members with the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation executed a search warrant at the home of the suspect, located at 16 Ilex Lane in Liverpool. The search warrant was issued following an investigation that was the result of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children contacting police with a cyber tip. The tip pointed at someone at the aforementioned residence who was believed to be uploading child pornography.
Congdon was arrested and then processed at SP North Syracuse before being turned over to the Onondaga County Justice Center. The suspect is currently awaiting centralized arraignment.
