Flushing, Queens, NY – 3-Year-Old Boy Critically Hurt During Fall from Window in Unsafe Property Accident

Flushing, Queens, NY (June 27, 2019) – Authorities have stated that a 3-year-old boy is currently in critical condition following a possibly unsafe property accident that took place in Flushing on Thursday morning, June 27th. The accident happened at a building located on 38th Avenue around 10:30 a.m., according to police.
Officials stated that the young child suffered serious injuries after falling from a sixth-floor window for unknown reasons. The boy fell from a window and was only stopped by a third-floor landing, according to authorities. Emergency responders were called to the scene shortly after the incident.
Police confirmed that the boy was taken to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where his condition has not been reported. However, he is said to be alert at this time.
