Auburn, NY: Three Hurt in Crash that Sent Car into Front of House

Auburn, NY (June 26, 2019) – Two vehicles collided on Wednesday afternoon, June 26th, injuring three people and sending one of the vehicles involved careening into the front porch of a nearby home. According to authorities, the crash took place around 2:30 p.m. at the corner of Lake Avenue and Swift Street in Auburn.
The fire department stated that the collision was a T-bone crash that occurred for reasons that are currently unclear. The impact of the collision forced one of the vehicles into and under the porch of a home located at 69 Lake Avenue. Emergency responders were promptly dispatched to the scene, where all three people involved in the accident were taken to Auburn Memorial Hospital. All injuries are considered non-life-threatening at this time.
Traffic had to be diverted away from the area for approximately one hour as crews worked to clear the scene and stabilize the porch. No further information has been released.
