East Patchogue, NY: 62-Year-Old Killed in Rear-End Accident at Int.

East Patchogue, NY (June 23, 2019) – Yesterday, June 22nd, a rear-end accident took place at the intersection of South Country Road and North Dunton Avenue that led to one fatality.
According to authorities, the accident took the life of a 62-year-old man when he was driving a vehicle and rear-ended an SUV in East Patchogue. Three others received various injuries.
The identity of the man who lost his life has not been released but he was declared dead after he was taken to the hospital.
The accident happened at 6:45 p.m. when the man struck the back of an Infiniti with his Hyundai vehicle that was stopped at the South Country Road intersection. The driver of the Infiniti, as well as two female passengers, were hospitalized. However, they are expected to be okay.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
