Duanesburg, NY – Two Injured in Motorcycle Crash with Vehicle

Duanesburg, NY (June 21, 2019) – A collision between a motorcyclist and a car has police investigating as of Friday, June 21^st. Authorities stated that the crash occurred Batter Street in the town of Duanesburg at an unspecified time.

According to local police, Timothy Rote, 33, was traveling west along Batter Street with one passenger on a motorcycle as another vehicle was traveling in the opposite lane. The other vehicle was reported to have attempted a left turn in front of the motorcycle, subsequently resulting in a collision.

Emergency medical crews were dispatched to the scene along with police, where they confirmed that both parties on the motorcycle suffered injuries. Rote was immediately airlifted to Albany Medical Center, while his passenger, identified as Barbara Wallach, 32, was transported via ground ambulance. Their conditions have not been reported at this time.

Currently, no charges have been filed but the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
