Newfane, NY – Two People Hurt After SUV Collision with Tractor

Newfane, NY (June 20, 2019) – A collision that took place on Wednesday evening, June 19th, between an SUV and a John Deere sprayer tractor resulted in the injuries of two people, according to authorities. The accident took place around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Coomer Road and Ide Road in the town of Newfane.
Witnesses stated that the tractor was attempting to make a left turn onto Ide Road from Coomer when the SUV collided with one of its front wheels. Police and emergency medical crews were called to the scene shortly after the incident.
According to authorities, two female occupants of the SUV suffered injuries and were promptly transported to Children’s Hospital. Both parties were reported to have been treated for non-life threatening injuries. However, their current condition has not been released. The tractor was towed away from the scene and police are actively continuing the investigation at this time.
