Gates, NY – Injurious Collision on Highway 33A Under Investigation

Gates, NY (June 21, 2019) – Authorities in the town of Gates were summoned to the area of Highway 33A at Interstate 390 in response to a motor vehicle accident with injuries that occurred on Friday afternoon, June 21st. According to police, the collision assumed to have involved no more than two cars, happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. for uncertain reasons.
Paramedics and police were called to the scene in the east and westbound lanes of the highway to assist any injured victims and assess any damages. At this time, authorities were able to confirm that at least one person was hurt in the collision. However, the severity of injuries has not been reported.
The number of people involved in the crash has not been confirmed, as no further information has been provided. Investigators are currently analyzing the events that led to this incident.
