Bedford, NY: Emergency Responders Called to Scene of Crash on Pkwy

Bedford, NY (June 21, 2019) – According to police, a car crash that occurred in the town of Bedford on Friday morning, June 21st, resulted in at least minor injuries, as well as the closure of the Saw Mill River Parkway near Exit 42. The collision happened around 8:20 a.m., just south of Harris Road.
Authorities stated that the crash involved three vehicles and immediately resulted in the presence of police and emergency medical crews at the scene. Westchester County Police was able to verify that an unstated number of people suffered minor injuries, although the current conditions of those involved have not been released.
The parkway was reopened around 9:30 a.m. but no further details have been provided. The cause of this incident is actively being investigated by the police.
