Newburgh, NY: Name Released of Woman Killed in Crash

Newburgh, NY (June 20, 2019) – Police have now released the identity of the woman was tragically killed in a multi-vehicle accident that also resulted in the injuries of three others. The collision occurred at around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, June 19, on Route 9W in the Middlehope section of Newburgh.
78-year-old Barbara Moloney, of Marlboro, has been identified as the woman who sadly lost her life in the crash, according to police. Three other drivers who were involved in the collision suffered less serious injuries, and neither their current conditions nor identities have been released at this time.
The area of Route 9W near Lattintown Road was shut down for approximately six hours as the initial investigation started. At this time, the investigation is continuing.
