Brewster, NY – Man Arrested for Rape of Girl Under 15-Years-Old

Brewster, NY (June 19, 2019) – On Monday, June 17th, police announced the arrest of a man who was reported to have raped a girl under the age of 15-year-old. 19-year-old Dulvin E. Andres Ovalle has since been charged with rape in the second degree, as well as disseminating indecent material to minors in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to investigators, Andres Ovalle as arrested after being alerted by the parents of the victim. Authorities established that Andres Ovalle, who previously knew the victim, sexually abused her on at least one occasion and also sent indecent material to the victim’s cell phone.
Andres Ovalle was ultimately arraigned in the village of Brewster Court and remanded to jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. He is due back in court on June 21st.
