Albion, NY: High School Student Killed and One Injured in Rollover

Albion, NY (June 19, 2019) – A senior at Albion High School was tragically killed while another suffered serious injuries following a rollover accident that happened early on Tuesday morning, June 18th. Police stated that the incident took place around 12:15 a.m. on Eagle Harbor Road.
According to State Police, 17-year-old Brennan Moody, of Kent, was a passenger in the backseat of a vehicle being operated by an unidentified 18-year-old. The vehicle was reported to have gone off the road before striking a ditch and going airborne. The vehicle ultimately rolled over and crashed into a utility pole.
Emergency medical crews accompanied police at the scene, where Moody was sadly pronounced deceased. Another 17-year-old who was in the backseat with Moody was taken to Erie County Medical Center with injuries described as serious. Both the 18-year-old driver and a front passenger were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for less severe but unspecified injuries.
No further information has been reported, as troopers are actively investigating the events that led to this crash.
