Brooklyn, NY – Authorities Searching for Man Who Sexually Abused Sleeping Woman on Q Train

Brooklyn, NY (June 17, 2019) – Police have stated that a man is currently wanted for sexually abusing a woman while she was asleep on the Q train in Coney Island. The incident took place on Sunday, June 2nd, according to authorities.
The victim, identified only as a 23-year-old woman, as reported to have woken up on the train with the unidentified man’s hand on her groin area, underneath her clothes. The woman screamed and the man immediately fled the area. He was reported to have exited the train at the Stillwell Avenue subway station.
At this time, no arrests have been made, as police are currently searching for the suspect. The NYPD has stated that he was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and a dark-colored cap. Anyone with any information is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
