West Seneca, NY – One Dead and Others Injured After Fatal Car Accident

West Seneca, NY (June 15, 2019) – Police reported that one person was killed and three were transported to the hospital following a fatal car accident on Southwestern Boulevard.
The accident, according to police in West Seneca, arrived at the scene of the accident this morning around 8 a.m. The accident took place in the area of the Southtowns YMCA. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident while three others were transported to the hospital.
At the time, an 18-year-old identified as Edward J. Travis IV was driving eastbound with a passenger. He drifted into the westbound lane when the vehicle struck a Jeep. Travis was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead.
The passenger in Travis’ vehicle was taken to the hospital and had to receive emergency surgery, but she is in stable condition at this time. Two people in the Jeep were hospitalized but are going to recover.
The accident is ongoing at this time.
