Lyons, NY – Man Arrested for Rape and Sexual Abuse

Lyons, NY (June 14, 2019) – On Wednesday, June 12th, state police reported on the arrest of a man for the rape and sexual abuse of another individual. 51-year-old Clayton Bardin was apprehended at an unspecified time following a warrant for his arrest which was issued by Wayne County Court.

At this time, there has been no information provided concerning the nature of Bardin’s crimes or the gender or age of the victim. Police have only stated that Bardin has been charged with two counts of rape in the second degree, as well as sexual abuse in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.

The only additional information released stated that the arrest was made after an investigation conducted by state police with assistance from Wayne County Child Protective Services. No further details have been provided.
