Albany, NY – One Injured Following Truck Rollover Crash on Dunn Bridge

Albany, NY (June 13, 2019) – On Wednesday afternoon, June 12th, a truck accident resulted in the injuries of one person. The accident was reported to have taken place around 2:30 p.m. along the Dunn Memorial Bridge for reasons that are actively being investigated.
According to Albany Fire Chief Joseph Gregory, the accident happened when a truck that was hauling garbage overturned on the bridge for unknown reasons. Emergency medical crews accompanied police among other responders at the scene, where their presence also resulted in heavy traffic delays.
Authorities were able to confirm that the driver of the truck suffered injuries. However, whether or not those injuries were serious has not been stated at this time. The bridge was reopened after crews finished clearing debris and police are actively conducting a thorough investigation.
