Shawangunk, NY (June 12, 2019) – On Tuesday, June 11th, state police announced the arrest of a teacher who they have accused of possessing child pornography. 34-year-old Brian Kinsley, of Shawangunk, was arrested and subsequently charged with the felony of possessing a sexual performance by a child, according to authorities.

Kinsley’s arrest came after state police out of Ellenville served him a warrant to search his property. At the time of his arrest, Kinsley was a teacher with the Poughkeepsie City School District, where he had contact with countless children.
