Ossining, NY – Fatal Accident on Route 9 Takes Life of One Driver

Ossining, NY (June 9, 2019) – On Saturday morning, June 8th, a driver’s life was taken in a fatal accident that took place on Route 9. Police have since identified the party.
According to police, the man was identified as a 44-year-old Briarcliff resident but his name has not yet been released. The Westchester County police continue to investigate but have determined that the collision has probably taken place due to speed.
According to authorities, the accident was so severe that it tied up all northbound traffic in the area for hours.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
