Perinton, NY – Man Struck in Pedestrian Accident Involving Truck on Watson Road

Perinton, NY (June 8, 2019) – On Thursday morning, June 6th, a man was struck by a tractor-trailer in a pedestrian accident that took place on Watson Road. The man has been seriously injured.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department investigated the accident, where they found that the 59-year-old man had been walking on the shoulder of the roadway around 10:40 a.m. A tractor-trailer had been headed north and struck the man.
The man was taken to the Strong Memorial Hospital with a variety of serious injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer was identified as 36-year-old Joshua Davis, who stopped and cooperated with police. They have since charged him with unsafe lane change.
Watson Road was closed down for the investigation. It continues at this time.
