Kirkland, NY: Sheriff’s Deputy Involved in College Hill Car Accident

Kirkland, NY (June 8, 2019) – On Friday morning, June 7th, a Oneida Sheriff’s County deputy was involved in a car accident that took place on College Hill Road.
According to police, the deputy was identified as Deputy Brian Warcup. He had been driving on College Hill Road responding to an emergency call with his lights and sirens on at the time of the accident.
When Warcup attempted to pass a driver coming up to the Green Apple Way intersection, the other driver turned left in front of the deputy.
Though injuries were reported, all parties are expected to be okay.
No tickets have been issued and the investigation continues.
