Rochester, NY – One Injured in Rollover Crash on I-490

Rochester, NY (June 7, 2019) – A portion of Interstate 490 was shut down following an injurious rollover crash that occurred at around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night, June 6, according to authorities. State Police responded to the accident and stated that it took place in the vicinity of the Frederick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony Bridge for unknown reasons.
According to police, the crash happened after a man lost control of his vehicle for reasons that are under investigation. The vehicle subsequently flipped over along the highway and resulted in the presence of police and paramedics at the scene.
Emergency medical crews arrived at the crash site where they transported at least one individual to the hospital. The injured driver is expected to make a full recovery and police are investigating the cause of the crash.
