Charleston, Staten Island, NY – One Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on West Shore Expressway

Charleston, Staten Island, NY (June 5, 2019) – A collision between a motorcyclist and a vehicle resulted in injuries along the West Shore Expressway on Tuesday night, June 4th. According to police, the accident took place at approximately 8:02 p.m. in the vicinity of Englewood Avenue.
A spokesman for the FDNY commented on the time and location of the collision, which is believed to have involved no more than two vehicles, including the motorcyclist. Paramedics and police were dispatched to the crash site, where the injured party was immediately transported to Staten Island University Hospital. The precise condition of the victim has not been provided.
Police have not released any further details at this time, as the cause of this accident is actively being investigated.
