Watertown, NY – Man Charged for Sex Crime After Filming Teen

Watertown, NY (June 4, 2019) – A man has been arrested for a sex crime after allegedly filming an underage girl, according to local authorities. 31-year-old Timothy D. Widrick, of 25512 Miller Road, Watertown, is currently being charged with unlawful surveillance in the second degree, as well as endangering the welfare of a child.
According to Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies, Widrick unlawfully filmed a 16-year-old girl while she was undressing during a tanning session at the Zoom Tan located at 21082 Pioneer Plaza Drive. The incident was reported to have occurred on May 3rd, according to police.
Widrick has been arrested and arraigned on the aforementioned charges as of Tuesday, June 4th. He was released on $2,500 bail and an order of protection has been issued against him. No further information has been provided at this time.
