Staten Island, NY – Pedestrian Struck and Injured near St. George Terminal

Staten Island, NY (June 4, 2019) – An ambulance accompanied the NYPD at the scene of a serious personal injury accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Tuesday morning, June 4th. According to authorities, one person was struck by a vehicle in the vicinity of the St. George terminal on Richmond Terrace for unknown reasons.
A spokesman for the FDNY stated that the incident took place at approximately 7:09 a.m. near the entrance to the upper-level bus ramp. A shuttle bus was observed on the curb at the scene, where a witness stated that the victim, an unidentified female, was struck by the bus as it was turning. The driver of the bus immediately exited the vehicle to check on the woman as several passengers called 911.
The injured victim was quickly rushed to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton to be treated for unknown injuries. The current condition of the victim has not been reported at this time.
