Newfane, NY: At Least One Person Airlifted to Hospital After Crash

Newfane, NY (June 4, 2019) – Police are currently investigating the cause of a car crash that took place on Tuesday morning, June 4th. According to authorities, at least one vehicle is believed to have rolled over after crashing along Lockport-Olcott Road/Route 78 for unknown reasons.
The collision was reported to have happened at approximately 6:30 a.m. between Wilson Burt Road and Edward Avenue. Police stated that emergency medical crews were called to the scene, including a Mercy Flight helicopter, shortly after the accident.
Although it is currently unclear as to how many people were involved in the crash, at least one person was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, the condition of the victim or victims has not been reported and no further details have been made available.
