Thompson, NY – Two Teens Killed in Pedestrian Accident with Motor Vehicle

Thompson, NY (June 3, 2019) – According to state police out of the Wurtsboro barracks, responders attended to those involved in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place on Sunday afternoon, June 2nd. The incident was reported to have occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Glen Wild Road.
Investigators were able to reveal that a 2018 Hyundai Electra, driven by 86-year-old Isaac Kantrowitz, of Woodridge, was heading south on Glen Wild Road when he hit two young pedestrians who were walking southbound. Police and emergency medical crews were immediately called to the scene.
Tragically, both pedestrians were pronounced deceased at the scene. They were later identified as 14-year-old Justin Finkel and 16-year-old Devin Zeininger, both of Thompson. At this time, police are still investigating the events that led to the accident.
