Colonie, NY – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Troy-Schenectady Road

Colonie, NY (June 3, 2019) – The results of a fatal motorcycle crash have police conducting an investigation as of Sunday night, June 2nd. According to police, a collision involving a motorcycle took place at around 9:00 p.m. along Troy-Schenectady Road in the vicinity of Sylvan Avenue.
Police in Colonie stated that the crash happened when 33-year-old Jacob Adams was traveling west along the aforementioned roadway and lost control for unknown reasons. Adams subsequently struck a utility pole, resulting in the presence of police and paramedics at the scene.
Unfortunately, Adams was pronounced dead at the scene but no further information was made available. Anyone who may have any information is being asked to call Colonie Police at 518-782-26-20. The events that led to this accident are actively under investigation.
