Tottenville, NY – Pedestrian Accident on Hylan Boulevard Injures Two Teens

Tottenville, NY (June 2, 2019) – On Friday night, police say that two teens were struck by a vehicle in a pedestrian accident on Hylan Boulevard that led to injuries in those involved.
At the time, a blue Volkswagen was traveling on the roadway when a 13-year-old and 14-year-old were trying to cross the street. The two teens were suddenly struck in the accident. The 14-year-old girl sustained a severe head injury and a broken collarbone, while the 13-year-old received a broken ankle.
Both of the teenagers were transported to the Staten Island University Hospital for treatment.
Police say that the driver stayed at the scene of the accident to assist with the police investigation. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
