Sodus, NY: Three Injured After Vehicle Crash into Apt.

Sodus, NY (June 2, 2019) – Around 9:00 p.m. last night, June 1st, injuries were reported in a vehicle crash when a driver lost control and crashed directly into an apartment building.
The Sodus Fire Department and authorities confirmed that the vehicle ran into a mother who was holding a young child outside of the apartment building and then struck the bottom apartment. The mother holding the child had serious injuries and was immediately hospitalized.
The child was thrown and caught by her aunt. The aunt and child were injured but are expected to be okay.
After the accident, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and turned herself in to the police. The driver did not live in the building, according to police.
At this time, police are still investigating what caused the driver to lose control of her vehicle.
