Queens, NY: Man Killed and Three Injured in Crash on Springfield.

Queens, NY (June 2, 2019) – This morning, around 2:30 a.m., police responded to the scene of a fatal crash that took place on Springfield Boulevard and took one person’s life. The accident caused injuries to others.
According to police, the accident took place between a BMW and a Jeep when Darwin Evariste was a few minutes from his home and attempted turning right from 114th Road. He was so severely injured that he suffered bodily and head trauma from the collision. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Jeep, a 23-year-old, and her two passengers, a 22-year-old and a 19-year-old, were all injured in the accident but are expected to be okay.
At this time, NYPD continues to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
