Newburgh, NY: Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Rte 300 and Stewart Ave.

Newburgh, NY (June 2, 2019) – Around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, a fatal motorcycle accident took place at the intersection of Route 300 and Stewart Avenue.
The crash, according to authorities who arrived at the scene of the accident, took place in the area of the Thruway ramp and involved a taxi and a motorcycle.
Police did not identify the victim, as next-of-kin notification is pending. Emergency services personnel were observed giving CPR to the victim, identified only as a male, who reportedly died at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
