Valhalla, NY: Car Accident on Bronx River Parkway Closes Lanes

Valhalla, NY (June 1, 2019) – Police were called to the scene of a car accident that took place on the Bronx River Parkway and closed the northbound lanes of traffic.
The accident took place around 5:00 p.m., according to police. The two northbound lanes were closed for several short hours after the accident. Police say that the occupant of one vehicle was injured.
When paramedics arrived, they confirmed that the occupant had serious injuries. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening but they were nonetheless quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police have not confirmed what led to the accident but their investigation continues at this time.
