Wilton, NY – One Killed in Crash Between Motorcyclist and Truck

Wilton, NY (May 29, 2019) – An investigation into a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a truck is currently being conducted by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. According to police, the two-vehicle crash took place Wednesday morning, May 29th, at approximately 9:00 a.m. in the area of Gurn Springs Road and Ballard Road.
Investigators have stated that 34-year-old Jason Greenhalgh was traveling southeast on Ballard Road on a 2009 Honda motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck that was crossing the street from Gurn Springs Road. Police and paramedics were immediately summoned to the scene and Greenhalgh was transported to Albany Medical Center. He was tragically pronounced dead a short time after his arrival.
The driver of the pickup truck may have suffered at least minor injuries as that person was hospitalized for observation. The events that led to this accident are unclear, as a collision reconstruction unit is currently assisting in the investigation.
