Irondequoit, NY: Accident with Injuries Reported Along Portland Ave

Irondequoit, NY (May 28, 2019) – Police were immediately summoned to the scene of a motor vehicle collision that took place on Tuesday afternoon, May 28th. Authorities stated that the accident happened on Portland Avenue at approximately 2:36 p.m. for reasons that are presently being investigated.
Emergency medical crews were able to confirm that at least one person sustained injuries due to the impact of the crash; however, the seriousness of the victims’ condition has not been stated. Police were on the scene in both the north and southbound lanes of Portland Avenue at Route 104 but did not verify the number of people involved in the collision.
At this time, no more than two vehicles are believed to have played a role in the accident, but no further details have been released.
