Corona, NY – Police looking for Man Who Sexually Abused Sleeping Teen on Subway

Corona, NY (May 28, 2019) – A man is currently being sought by police for sexually abusing a teenage girl while she was sleeping on a subway, according to authorities. The incident was reported to have taken place on Sunday afternoon, May 26th, on a number 7 train as it approached the Junction Boulevard subway station.
According to police, the 15-year-old victim had fallen asleep on the train. Shortly before the train stopped at the aforementioned station, an unidentified man approached her and began to rub himself against her. The entirety of the incident has not been fully detailed; however, witnesses say that he got off at the Junction Boulevard station immediately afterward.
The suspect is believed to be in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, with black hair and last seen wearing a black turtleneck shirt, multicolored sneakers, and gray shorts. Police are asking the public for their help with identifying the suspect. Anyone with any information is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
