Belfast, NY – One Injured in Car Accident on Searles Road

Belfast, NY (May 28, 2019) – Police and emergency medical responders were promptly dispatched to the scene of a personal injury accident that took place on Sunday evening, May 26th. The motor vehicle accident was stated to have taken place at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Searles Road, according to authorities.
Following a preliminary investigation, it was determined that Stephanie M. Underwood, 38, of Batavia, was traveling along Searles Road when her vehicle crashed for unknown reasons. Paramedics arrived at the scene and were able to confirm that one person was injured; however, authorities did not specifically say whether or not Underwood was the injured party.
Neither the seriousness of the resulting injuries nor the events that led to this incident have been made clear at this time. The cause of the crash is actively under investigation.
